Near-Expiry Medicine Register Format
A free register for medicines nearing expiry — what is expiring, from which supplier, and whether it went back, was discounted or was destroyed. English and Hindi column headings; print the PDF or open the CSV in Excel.
Short answer: no law prescribes a format for a near-expiry register. This one is a working format: check stock every month, list everything expiring in the next three months, and record what happened to each batch and which credit note came back.

Why keep a near-expiry register at all?
Because the money is lost quietly. A strip that expires on the shelf is written off; the same strip sent back to the distributor in time is often a credit note. The register is how you know which, and how you know a supplier actually issued the credit it agreed to.
How often should you check for near-expiry medicines?
Once a month is a workable rhythm for most stores. The three-month window in the template is a practical choice, not a rule — if your distributors accept returns only within a shorter window, use theirs and check more often.
